Creative Writing, Lower Key Stage 2 Primary (P3 + P4)

This course is aimed at teaching the core learning children need to improve their writing. Language features are key, so that your child can produce more structured and fluent writing. Using exciting stimuli the children will be inspired to apply their own clear understanding to various styles of writing. This course aims to make writing exciting and therefore motivate your child by taking away the barrier of tedious writing.

Maths Core Learning Lower Key Stage 2  Primary (P3 + P4)

Children are taught the principal skills needed to build knowledge clearly in maths. These fundamental skills are then put into practice in a variety of maths topics including numbers, calculating, and using & applying.  Learning from good mathematics models, your child will grasp an understanding of the key elements and be extended providing an enjoyable challenge.

Maths Core Learning Upper Key Stage 2 Primary (P5 + P6)

Topics taught cover all the core learning skills that are needed for good grounding and understanding in mathematics. Sessions will cover: using and applying mathematics, understanding and using number, calculating, shape and data, to improve confidence and ability. Sessions are interactive to make them enjoyable, to break down those maths barriers that interfere with learning.

Both Lower and Upper Key Stage 2 courses are 12 hours over 2 weeks (3 days per week X 2 hours per day - 1 hour English + 1 hour Maths)
