ITS is now offering a range of private, group or corporate language training courses in Hong Kong.

ITS has experienced, bi-lingual native Mandarin-speaking teachers who have extensive experience in teaching Mandarin to both English and Cantonese speakers. The school will develop individual courses on request, or students may join one of their classes.  Classes are kept to a small size to ensure individual attention.

ITS has developed very effective programs to ensure learners achieve their goals in the shortest time periods possible.  Whether you wish to learn Chinese as a tourist or for employment ITS can provide the solution for you.

All ITS teachers are fully qualified and experienced in teaching both Westerners and Hong Kong natives Mandarin and Cantonese.  Classes are normally conducted at ITS Tutorial School located in Central but can be arranged at cooperate premises or alternative  locations.

Below is a sample outline of an Introductory course in Mandarin.  Classes are limited to a maximum of 8 students to ensure individual attention.
 

Introductory Course

Aim: Based on topical elements of culture and life, the course aims to allow students to develop their interest in Chinese language and become adept at using Mandarin to communicate in everyday scenarios.

This course leads the student through several areas of daily life.  Each lesson focuses on some of the expressions within the topic,  introducing new words, common expressions, cultural background and language points, and using situational dialogue and drills to integrate comprehension with practical usage.

Lessons cover a wide variety of subject matter including: greetings, introductions, numbers, time, dates, making phone calls, asking for directions, losing weight, staying at hotels, changing money, communicating with trades people, taking taxis, taking buses, talking about the weather, sending letters, using the internet, booking tickets etc.
