Writing Courses

I have written a large amount of different courses throughout my time in education.  I decided to include parts of some of those on my website.  I have done this for a few reasons.  One they are original content and search engines love original content.  Two I did them so they are my own work.

Writing courses is not that difficult.  The first course I wrote was a course in basic computer education for the Northern Territory University.  It was aimed at primary school teachers.  I then owned a computer training centre and wrote may courses for learning different computer software.  I personally train in MYOB Accounting Software.

In recent time I have written some courses for Associate degree programs in Hong Kong.  Below is an intro into one of those course outlines.

This course is intended to allow students who have studied some accounting previously or who have no prior knowledge of accounting to gain an introduction to financial accounting and to gain an insight into techniques used by management in costing products and services and in financial decision making. 

The course introduces students to basic accounting concepts and procedures. Topics include legal structure of business, company accounts, accounting concepts and conventions, costing and management accounting, ratio analysis, budgeting and investment appraisal.
