Travel

Travel ----- my career.  All i ever really wanted to do was travel and see the world.  I have so far visited approximately 40 countries.  That leaves about 160 more to go.  Well more to the point I hate the traveling part of travel.  i just love being there.  i hate airports and absolutely despise bus trips.  Some of my worst memories of traveling are long bus trips in the developing world.  Uncomfortable seats, bad roads, scary corners.  I remember being in Nepal on a bus and looking out the window as we went around a corner.  half the road had been washed away and the cliff i was sure we were about to fall down looked like it went on for ever.

My worst train trip i think was in Vietnam.  My advice take the plane.  My favorite beach holiday destination is Boracay in the Philippines.  It a truly magical place.  I normally like to go to place where I can go scuba diving which is my favorite recreational hobby.

I would recommend travel to all.  I think you learn more in a short trip to a different country then you do in months in your own.  I love meeting travelers.  They are very interesting people. 

Good luck on finding the right transport, hotel etc.  Oh well even the wrong ones wont be all bad.  We all need that worst travel story to tell people also.
