In Hong Kong, children of expatriate and local executives attend more than 50 international schools, including 18 schools belonging to the English Schools Foundation (ESF). ESF schools offer different Curricula: American, Australian, British, Canadian, French, German-Swiss, Japanese, Korean and Singaporean, providing a total of 31,000 places. Of these international schools, 25  are primary to secondary level and 48  are primary  schools. There are 38 Kindergartens,  plus a Special Education School.
