UK A Levels for 2011-2012 Year

A-level classes.

ITS Tutorial School and ITS Exam Services in partnership with Edexcel are now offering small-class teaching in a variety of UK A level subjects.

The UK A levels are internationally recognized, modular units with two assessment points during the year and are accepted by tertiary institutions worldwide.  UK A levels are available in a range of subjects and completion points are flexible – so you can learn at the right pace for you.  ITS can offer all core A level subjects and is the only independent provider in HK that can offer subjects with a coursework component, such as English.

ITS will be holding an information session in early January for people interested in visiting the school and finding out more about our classes.  Ring or email for more details.

Ideal for:

• Students aiming to go to a UK university.
• Students studying the IB who wish to add an additional subject to improve their UCAS score/academic portfolio.
• Students studying the BTEC who wish to add an additional subject to improve their UCAS score/academic portfolio.
• Students studying the HKDSE who wish to add an additional subject to improve their UCAS score/academic portfolio.
• Post compulsory school age students not enrolled in other full time secondary schools.
• Adult learners wishing to enhance / change their career or gain admission to university courses.

ITS has considerable experience in providing alternatives for students who want to complete or supplement their secondary education with UK A levels. From August 2011, ITS will be providing small group lessons for both an 18-month and a 2-year A-level programme in a range of subjects.

ITS is a Teaching and Assessment Centre for the Edexcel examinations board, giving our students access to one of the most globally well-recognized qualifications, the UK A level, through one of the largest exams boards. By completing the UK A levels, either as a standard alone qualification, or as an additional qualification to complement ones already being undertaken, students will be well-placed to gain tertiary entrance to universities in a range of countries.  Assistance can also be given with UCAS applications for UK universities and US College admissions and SAT support.
